Tomorrow I begin the 1,500 mile journey from Salida, Colorado to Roseville, Montana. As of today we've raised $520 in pledged donations and $1,365 in online donations for the young people at Kaleidoscope. I never expected such an outpouring of support, and I am honored to ride for such a worthy orginization. Thank you so much for your contributions! You have inspired me to ride hard and ride far! I will try my best to keep you up to date. Feel free to join my Facebook page. I'm also on Twitter, and will tweet when I get cell coverage.

Ok, so I've covered my bases with internet updates, but realistically, I'm going to be in the woods. I will send updates as often as I can via email, but they will be sporatic at best. Please feel free to contact me, but be patient with my response. Most of the next four weeks will be spent far away from computers or cell phone towers!

A few people have asked me about the best way to donate or pay for a pledged donation. Here are a few options:

Online- This is the best way to contribute. I have been using a non profit orginization called Give Minnesota. It's simple, and every penny donated goes straight to Kaleidoscope. Kaleidsocope gets the donations imediatley, so they can use it right away. Also, I recieve dontation reports, so if you have pledged a donation and pay via Give Minnesota, I will check you off as paid and I won't come knocking in August for your check.

By Mail- After I complete the trip in August, i will send letters with a billing slip and the adress for Kaleidoscope. Just drop a check in the mail. Kaleidoscope will notify me of all donatons.

In Person- Meet up with me for a beer or a cup of cofee when I get back, and I'll tell you all about the trip! I have recieved a number of cash donations in person. When I recieve a cash donation, I send it to Kaleidoscope through Give Minnesota, that way I don't have to send cash in the mail.

Thanks again for your support. Now lets ride!
